What this website does
The site provides verified gallery-dl download links with a visible countdown, plus focused installation, supported-site, configuration, cookie, command-reference, and troubleshooting guides.
The release files come directly from the upstream Codeberg project. gallery-dl.wiki does not repackage the software, host downloaded media, proxy requests, provide accounts, bypass access controls, or store your downloaded files.
Independent from gallery-dl and supported platforms
gallery-dl.wiki is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by gallery-dl, its maintainer, GitHub, Python, or any website supported by gallery-dl. Product names, service names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only for descriptive compatibility and educational purposes.
The upstream gallery-dl project is the authoritative source for releases, source code, extractor support, command-line options, and configuration behavior. We link to those sources and label our supported-sites view as curated because platform support changes over time.
How information is maintained
Command names and installation instructions are checked against official gallery-dl documentation and package sources when pages are materially updated. Version-sensitive statements include a verification date. Examples use placeholders and public sample patterns so readers can adapt them without sharing private accounts or media URLs.
A generated command can still be wrong for a particular extractor, shell, account, or site change. Users should confirm their installed version, read the upstream documentation, simulate unfamiliar jobs, and test a small range before large downloads.
Our safety and privacy principles
- Do not ask users to paste raw cookies, passwords, access tokens, or private configuration secrets.
- Keep download countdown, config, and diagnostic interactions local to the browser wherever practical.
- Explain that users must have authorization and comply with copyright, contracts, platform terms, and law.
- Prefer small simulations and explicit destinations before large or recurring jobs.
- Link to authoritative upstream documentation for changing technical behavior.
- Publish clear privacy and terms pages for analytics, advertising, liability, and acceptable use.
